1. Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun
Accommodation: Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun
A secluded white beach sets the stage for one of the best all-inclusive resorts on the Riviera Maya. Fronted by the most sparkling azure waves, Playa Maroma is one of Cancun's best beaches and a fitting addition to the luxurious Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun resort.
Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun has 412 suites, all of which are part of the Unlimited Luxury all-inclusive program. The Preferred Club Junior Suites are incredible here and you can choose from either a swim-out or an oceanfront view. The oceanfront suites have a bathroom with a hot tub, while the swim-out suites have direct pool access from the terrace.
The beach is where most of the action can be found at this romantic resort. This soft, sandy spot is an ideal place to put your feet up on a plush sun lounger, partake in a snorkel, or head out on a catamaran.
If you'd rather stick to land-based fun, you're in luck. Guests of this Secrets resort gain free access to nearby golf courses, El Tinto and Gran Coyote, and exciting activities like Euro Bungee and archery are on offer. These are all included in your rate.
Grab a bite (also included) at one of the six à-la-carte restaurants, a buffet venue, a grill, or the café. Then, head back to your swish room for some R & R. Upgrade to a suite if you're in the market for a private pool with swim-out access.
Address: Manzana 22 Carretera Federal 307 km 260, Akumal
2. ATELIER Playa Mujeres
Accommodation: Atelier Playa Mujeres
One of the newest all-inclusive, adults-only resorts to grace the shores of the Mexican Caribbean, ATELIER Playa Mujeres is already making a name for itself. This stunning luxury resort sits sandwiched between the picture-perfect beach and an impressive golf course in a quieter section north of Cancun's Hotel Zone.
The all-suite resort features 593 suites. Rooms are chic and bohemian, with marble and wood accents, as well as pops of subtle color from greenery or artwork. INSPIRA Suites raise the bar with personalized check-in and check-out, early check-in, select deluxe amenities, and exclusive areas on the property like private pools, a separate lounge, and a separate beach section.
One of the top reasons to book ATELIER Playa Mujeres is the stellar golf course that sits directly on the property. The 18-hole course has lovely views over the mangroves and features dunes and smaller bodies of water. Guests staying in INSPIRA suites will receive up to two complimentary green fees and unlimited use of practice holes on game day.
The resort has an impressive 13 restaurants and two coffee shops, meaning guests are absolutely spoiled for choice. Dining options range from the most grab-and-go casual to toes-in-the-sand boho to sophisticated fine dining. Perhaps the most exclusive experience at ATELIER Playa Mujeres is the culinary journey at Maria Dolores by Edgar Núñez.
Wellness gurus are going to positively swoon over NUUP Spa. The palatial wellness space spans a sprawling 3,600 square meters with 18 treatment cabins, including two individual Spa Suites with tub and lounge areas. Other spa perks include a hydrotherapy circuit and a beauty salon.
Address: Prolongación Bonampak S/N Mz 1 Lote RTH4, SM3, Complejo Playa Mujeres, Zona Continental, 77400 Q.R., Mexico
3. Excellence Playa Mujeres
Accommodation: Excellence Playa Mujeres
The Excellence Playa Mujeres was certainly well-named. This elegant resort features impeccable service, delectable dishes, and amenities so varied, you'll never be bored. It's no wonder this has been dubbed one of the best all-inclusive, adults-only resorts in the world.
The linens are so soft, you'll want to extend snuggle time, and if you're lucky enough to upgrade your stay to the Excellence Club's two-story rooftop terrace suite, you may never leave. This "membership" also grants guests access to an exclusive section of the beach, a separate restaurant, and a private lounge.
Beach and Pool
In addition to the on-site luxuries, which also include sweeping ocean views and seven pools with lazy rivers, this resort is home to classy suites that make every stay feel magical.
Restaurants and Activities
Included in your stay are meals and drinks at 13 restaurants, a food truck, and a beachside snack grill, as well as yoga, dancing, and aerobics classes, fat bike rentals, and entertainment.
Address: Prolongacion Bonampak, S/N Mz 1LT10, SM2, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres
4. Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun
Accommodation: Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun
Another stunner tops our list. Set on the soft, sandy shore of the Mayan Riviera, this five-star beauty is one of the best in its class. One of the best all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun offers guests a vacation filled with relaxation and pampering beyond their wildest dreams.
Deluxe oceanfront suites boast beach chic décor, floor-to-ceiling windows, deep soaking tubs with a view, private balconies, Bulgari bathroom products, and a rainfall shower. Snacks, drinks, meals, and the minibar are included in your rate, as are hydrotherapy, the fitness center, and various classes and activities.
Le Blanc Cancun was one of the first all-inclusive resorts to make cuisine one of its key focuses. It helped to change the game when it comes to all-inclusive dining, so you can expect that its restaurants do not disappoint. Their signature restaurant is Lumiere, a French fine-dining restaurant. My personal favorite, however, is Yama, which serves sushi, noodle and rice dishes, and heartier main dishes like sweet-sour chicken, short rib, and miso-glazed black cod.
What sets Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun apart from other adults-only all-inclusive resorts in Mexico is the emphasis on the spa. Today wellness is such an important part of travel, but Le Blanc was one of the first wellness-oriented all-inclusives to exist. Blanc Spa is a gorgeous, serene space with hydrotherapy pools, massages, detox experiences, and body wraps.
Beach and Pool
Three pools make it easy to find somewhere to lounge during the day, and the beach is a must for those who love the feeling of sand between their toes. In fact, I think Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun has one of the best beachfront locations in Cancun.
Another plus: this fantastic all-inclusive, adults-only resort sits in Cancun's Hotel Zone, a thriving hub of resorts set close to Cancun's top attractions.
Address: Blvd. Kukulcan km 10 Zona Hotelera, Cancun
5. TRS Yucatan Hotel
Accommodation: TRS Yucatan Hotel
Whether you're traveling as a couple or in a group, TRS Yucatan Hotel will offer a lusciously relaxing, adults-only experience you won't forget. Positioned as a luxury, adults-only resort within the larger Grand Palladium Resort & Spa property, guests are granted a slew of activities so diverse that you'll never be bored.
There are 454 fancy suites in this resort, which come with a private terrace and hydromassage tub. Larger suites include separate living areas, large modern bathrooms, and double balconies (some with a two-person Jacuzzi).
Guests of TRS Yucatan have roughly 20 restaurants they can choose from between the restaurants at TRS and those at Grand Palladium. Plus, guests of TRS have exclusive dining perks at restaurant Helios. Typically, those plates come at an additional charge for regular Grand Palladium guests.
The pool scene at TRS Yucatan is sublime. Guests at TRS have access to all the pools on the property, which also includes the pools at Grand Palladium. The main adults-only pool at TRS Yucatan is the Helios Pool, which has luxurious sunbeds, ocean views, and, most importantly, no children.
The spa and wellness center is pretty spectacular. It boasts a variety of treatments (for a fee) as well as fitness classes, exercise equipment, a Jacuzzi, vapor baths, and a sauna. Guests are also granted access to the restaurants and facilities at the other Palladium Riviera Maya Resort & Spa properties.
Address: Carretera Chetumal—Puerto Juárez Km 256-100, Municipio Solidaridad — Riviera Maya
6. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya
Accommodation: Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya
Perhaps best known as being home to one of the largest swimming pools in Mexico, Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya has a long list of other attributes. A long stretch of white-sand beach known as Playa Secreto sets the scene, while a lazy river snakes its way around the property that is home to 540 rooms. Seven restaurants, a spa, a fitness center, and an overall laid-back vibe are what keep guests returning year after year to this all-inclusive, adults-only resort in Mexico.
Rooms are spacious and modern, with warm, earth-tone accents and furnishings. The Diamond Suites measure an impressive 1,615 square feet. All rooms feature hydro-massage bathtubs and terraces or balconies. Pink marble bathrooms and dark wood accents add an elegant feel to the spacious suites, some of which have swim-up access to the resort's lazy river.
Up your vacation game with a Valentin Privé experience, these rooms come with an added wow factor and more exclusive offerings, not to mention a higher price tag.
Pools and Beach
The pools are really where this resort shines. Its main pool feels stadium-sized, while the tranquil lazy river winds its way past the swim-up suites. You'll find two swim-up snack bars and three islands dotted inside its vast expanse.
Since this is quite a large resort, be prepared to walk quite a bit to get from one area to the next, and try to get up early to score a good lounge chair by the pool or beach. The competition can be fierce, especially during high season. The silky soft sand of the stunning Playa Del Secreto is so sought after, some chairs are reserved by 7am.
When you aren't splashing here, grab a bite at one of the seven à la carte restaurants. These are included in your stay, as is access to the fitness center, spa (treatments are extra), theme nights, minibar treats, and certain activities.
Address: Carretera Federal 307 Chetumal Puerto Juárez KM 311 500, Playa del Secreto, Playa del Carmen, Solidaridad
7. Haven Riviera Cancun
Accommodation: Haven Riviera Cancun
With 250 acres of beachfront, spectacular suites, gorgeous pools, and a laid-back, adults-only vibe, it's easy to forget that Haven Riviera Cancun is less than 15 minutes from the airport. It truly feels like another world away and has some of the most high-end inclusions I've ever seen at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico.
The all-suite resort has 435 accommodations. Included in each room rate are beach concierge and pool service, five restaurants, three snack bars, four pools, activities, and classes. I recommend booking a Serenity Club Oceanfront Suite, which has private check-in, extra amenities, and the best location directly in front of the sea.
The culinary program is another area where Haven excels. Of all the all-inclusive resorts I have visited, Haven has some of the top restaurants around, and everything is included. Highlights for me were Agua Bendita, the Mexican Steak House, and Satsu, which serves Asian Fusion. Guests of Serenity Club have access to exclusive restaurants, as well.
The MySenses Spa at Haven Riviera Cancun is one of my favorite spas in Mexico. The sprawling spa escape has a spectacular hydrotherapy circuit complete with a Roman thermae, as well as a new temazcal experience, a Hammam, and a beautiful fitness center.
Pools and Beach
Pool aficionados will swoon over the pool scene at Haven Riviera Cancun. The resort has four expansive pools, one of which is a giant circular pool wreathed in Bali beds. The resort has a lovely stretch of white sand beach, as well.
Address: México 307 km. 335, Juárez, 77569 Chetumal, Q.R., Mexico
8. Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun
Accommodation: Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun
With a prime Hotel Zone location, gorgeous vistas, and one of Mexico's top beaches at its door, it's no wonder the Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun is dubbed one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Cancun.
You can expect to unwind in luxury in any of the recently revamped (in 2019) guest rooms. They feature supreme ocean vistas best enjoyed from the furnished balcony, a glitzy white marble bathroom, and deep soaking tubs (for some). Settle in for the night with a custom-scented, in-room aromatherapy experience.
The Aqua Club grants guests a plusher (and more expensive) experience with a personal butler, a dedicated lounge and pool, and reservations for beach Bali beds. It costs extra, but the amenities are worth it.
I never get tired of the restaurants at Live Aqua, but every time I visit I am sure to visit a few in particular. The first stop for me is always Sea Corner, a toes-in-the-sand beachfront restaurant that serves fresh ceviche and tacos. A second favorite is Azur, another al fresco restaurant that serves Mediterranean dishes. In the evening, I also stop by the Sushi Station for a pre-dinner sushi appetizer snack.
Pools and Beach
When it comes to beaches, I believe Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun has one of the best in Mexico. The swath of sugar-colored sand extends down from the pool area and out to the Caribbean Sea. Lounge chairs, palaces, and a hammock grove help to make up the beautiful beachfront.
The pools are equally impressive, with different pools for different vibes. The central pool is about tranquility, while the pool by Sea Corner is geared more towards music and energy.
Address: Blvd. Kukulcan, Km 12.5, Zona Hotelera, Cancun
9. Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos
Accommodation: Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos
Those who've been lucky enough to stay at a Le Blanc Spa Resort know what they're in for: high-end amenities, luxurious accommodations, and unbeatable service. The Los Cabos resort can add stunning views, gourmet restaurants, and an endless array of activities to its long list of bonuses.
Rooms at Le Blanc Spa Los Cabos were built with tranquility in mind, from the breezy, light-filled spaces to the calming earth-tone color palette. Deep soaking tubs and furnished balconies add a little something extra. For extra space and gorgeous views, consider the Royale Governor Suite.
Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos is the second Le Blanc property to open in Mexico, following the original in Cancun. Much like the original, the Los Cabos resort puts a strong emphasis on the quality of cuisine. If you've visited the Cancun property, you'll recognize similar restaurant concepts like fine-dining Lumiere, Italian restaurant Bella, and Asian fusion Yama. But Los Cabos has its own signature restaurants, like Blanc Pizza and Habibi.
As the name of the brand would suggest, the spa is one of the main selling points of this resort. Start with the personalized hydrotherapy journey through different thermal areas, relaxing showers, and a whirlpool with massage beds. A long list of massages and facials are available to choose from. I'm partial to the Pericu Massage, a four-handed massage that helps promote mental clarity and the removal of negative energy.
Address: Carr. Transpeninsular SJC CSL Km. 18.4, Lomas de Tule SJC, San Jose del Cabo
10. UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya
Accommodation: UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya
Whenever I'm asked what my favorite all-inclusive, adults-only resort is in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, I always answer UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya. I think this resort is done so incredibly well. It's a big resort but never feels overwhelming with so many wonderful places to hang out, restaurants, and a semi-private beach area. The energy is a balanced combo of activity and blissing out by the gorgeous pools.
There's little more romantic than an unimpeded ocean view. When that lovely vista can be enjoyed from the comfort of a dreamy four-poster bed in a plush room, you'll find it hard to peel yourself away. Don't forget to try on one of the signature sweatshirt robes — my favorite in-room amenity!
Those who manage to extricate themselves from their private terrace (complete with a tub) or swim-up suite are rewarded with a slew of ways to boost the romance of their Mexican beach holiday.
UNICO is one of my favorite resorts for the culinary options. The resort has several specialty restaurants, all of which are excellent. My favorites are definitely Cueva Sieta for Mexican food and Mura House for Japanese cuisine. Restaurant 20.87 is fantastic for breakfast, too. At night 20.87 turns into a steakhouse, but I personally prefer the other restaurants for dinner.
The spa at UNICO is one of its top-selling points. Book the Volcanic Massage, which uses hot stones to alleviate muscle pain and tension. The gym is also comprehensive (and seems to always be busy).
Live entertainment and daily and nightly events are also included, as is a special spa tub preparation. Add to that the services of a local host, and you'll understand why this has been deemed one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Tulum.
Address: Akumal, Quintana Roo
11. Secrets The Vine Cancun
Accommodation: Secrets The Vine Cancun
Another Secrets resort graces our list of the best all-inclusive, adults-only resorts in Mexico, and for good reason. Also set in Cancun's popular Hotel Zone, Secrets The Vine Cancun is one of Cancun's top resorts for couples. The scenery is unbeatable, with views of the sparkling cerulean Caribbean Sea and Laguna Nichupte taking center stage.
The large, stylish rooms are designed to enhance feelings of amorousness. Private balconies, teak furnishings, and Italian porcelain floors are particularly chic.
Boost your stay with a room in the Preferred Club, which boasts a dedicated concierge, exclusive lounge, and even swankier suites, not to mention a member-only infinity pool.
Guests of this resort can find romance around pretty much every corner. A posh spa, three pools, a gym, and multiple restaurants are on offer. The meals and drinks are included, as are most activities and entertainment.
Address: Blvd. Kukulcan Km. 14.5 Retorno del Rey, Lot 38 + 3-b, Zona Hotelera
12. Marquis Los Cabos
Accommodation: Marquis Los Cabos
Marquis Los Cabos is undoubtedly one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Los Cabos. Set in the serene spot where the desert meets the sea, you can expect nothing but stunning views and first-rate service.
A contemporary design means you'll be secluded in rooms that are bright, airy, clean, and uncluttered with a balcony overlooking the sparkling Sea of Cortez. Book a Casita if you want a private pool.
Dining and Activities
Five restaurants are on hand to quell hunger pangs, and all meals and drinks are included in your stay. Also complimentary are your minibar, items from the coffee shops, activities like dance lessons and archery, and entertainment like concerts, shows, and outdoor movies.
Play a game of tennis, splash about in one of the two infinity pools, book a spa treatment (for a fee), or lounge by the sea.
Address: Carretera Transpeninsular Km 21.5, Fracc. Cabo Real, San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur
13. Hyatt Zilara Cancun
Accommodation: Hyatt Zilara Cancun
It's easy to see why Hyatt Zilara graces the list of the best resorts in Cancun. A sugar-white sandy beach is the focal point here, but the free-form infinity pool (complete with bridges) is where many choose to spend their days. A lap pool, hot tubs, gym, and spa are also on hand to help guests while away a few hours.
The most romantic rooms are the ocean-view swim-up suites. Slightly more expensive, they boast a dual-jet tub, furnished balcony complete with a hammock, and direct access to the pool. Included with your stay in this room is one meal at the exclusive Chef's Plate gourmet restaurant.
No matter which room type you choose, you'll be pampered with rainfall showers, jetted tubs, and furnished balconies (yes, they also have a hammock).
Guests have six restaurants to choose from, including gourmet sushi and teppanyaki, Mexican, pizzas, seafood, Caribbean, fine dining, and a specialty five-course tasting menu restaurant. You can also grab a coffee or an ice cream at the casual Casa del Cafe.
Activities and Amenities
In addition to a location on a beautiful stretch of Cancun beachfront, Hyatt Zilara also features an Olympic-sized lap pool and state-of-the-art Sky Gym, as well as a spa and nightly live entertainment.
Address: Blvd. Kukulcan Km 11.5, Zona Hotelera, Cancun
14. Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta
Accommodation: Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta
My favorite all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta is none other than Hotel Mousai. Set on one of Puerto Vallarta's best beaches, and a gorgeous stretch of the coast, the two-tower resort has views of the ocean and the rainforest, as well as a long list of luxe amenities that sets it apart from many other resorts in the area.
From a rooftop infinity pool to gourmet restaurants to a romantic spa and five-star service, you're in for a treat at this top Mexican resort.
Spread across two towers, the rooms at Hotel Mousai have expansive furnished balconies that make the most of the captivating vistas. The Ultra Suites are particularly nice, with eclectic art on display, pops of vibrant color in the décor, and over 1,000 square feet of space.
An in-room tablet plays music based on your mood and powers the curtains. The terrace comes with a Jacuzzi and a two-person hammock. They are located on the upper floors of the towers and include private butler service, free access to the spa's hydrotherapy circuit, the best views in the hotel, and a pillow menu.
Between the two Hotel Mousai towers and the restaurants at sister property Garza Blanca, guests of Hotel Mousai have nine restaurants to choose from. My personal favorite is Hiroshi for spectacularly fresh sushi and sashimi. DAO is one of its newer restaurants that serves contemporary Chinese cuisine and is also one of my favorite spots at the resort. For a real treat, the rooftop restaurants in either tower have sweeping views, which always elevates any dining experience.
Speaking of the rooftops, the two towers each have their own rooftop infinity pool. The pools are surrounded by day beds and chaise lounges and have jaw-dropping views of the Bay of Banderas and the surrounding jungle-covered mountains. The beach at the resort is located on the grounds of Garza Blanca, which is just down the hill. But most guests prefer to stay at the pool when they stay at Hotel Mousai.
Address: Carretera A Barra de Navidad Km. 7.5, Puerto Vallarta
15. Beloved Playa Mujeres
Accommodation: Beloved Playa Mujeres
Beloved Playa Mujeres is a couples-only resort just outside Cancun, and it's so jam-packed with options for both fun and pleasure that you'll never be bored–unless you want to be, that is. This is the ultimate resort for amorous travelers thanks to its powder-soft beachfront, spacious suites, and amenities that dial up the romance.
The romantic suites are charming and luxurious, with swim-up access, plunge pools, or larger infinity pools, depending on the type you choose.
Lounge on the beach, swim in one of the resort's three pools, soak in one of the four outdoor Jacuzzis, take a yoga or cooking class, or head out on a bike or kayak adventure. They're all included in your rate. For a fee, guests can enjoy treatments at the Beloved Spa, including a guided hydrotherapy session.
Also included are one laundry service per stay, meals and drinks at four restaurants, minibar offerings, wellness workshops on the beach, paddleboarding, live music, evening and daily entertainment, daily fresh fruit in your suite, and one hydrotherapy circuit per guest per stay.
Address: Condominio Playa Mujeres, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres
16. Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an
Accommodation: Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an
The perks at the adults-only, Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an resort are true crowd-pleasers. Like most all-inclusive resorts, guests receive their meals and drinks, as well as non-motorized water sports as part of their stay. This plush pad also boasts golf (at a discount), culinary workshops, dance lessons, and live entertainment.
The resort offers 420 rooms. All of these feature a balcony or terrace, a living area, a pillow menu, 24-hour room service, chic décor, and can accommodate three people, but there are different levels of luxury. For the most space and something truly high-end, see the junior suite superior penthouse.
One-hour free rentals of paddleboards, kayaks, tennis rackets, catamarans, and snorkeling gear are available each day. In addition to food, drinks, and shows offered at this swanky resort, guests are free to use the facilities and non-buffet restaurants on offer at the Bahia Principe Luxury and Bahia Principe Grand hotels in this complex.
On-site, there are four restaurants, four pools, a spa, a gym, and tennis courts. The resort also boasts an 18-hole golf course, one of the best golf courses in Mexico.
A note: If you're looking for a beach resort, this pretty spot is located a 15-minute shuttle ride away from the sandy shore.
Address: Carretera Chetumal — Cancun Km 250
17. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort
Accommodation: Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort
Dubbed a "resort within a resort," the Pueblo Bonita Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort consists of two main towers set about three miles from Cabo San Lucas.
Inside the towers, you'll find 47 lovely guest rooms and suites, all with private balconies, plush bedding, and 24-hour butler service. Six of the suites boast private plunge pools, and they all offer exclusive access to an oceanfront VIP lounge. In-room dining is included in all room types.
On-site, you'll find two pools and a hot tub, a spa, a fitness center, and a free shuttle bus to take you between the properties.
As for the all-inclusive perks, here's what to expect: food and drinks, snacks, various activities, and classes of all sorts, from cooking to water aerobics to beach yoga. Guests are also privy to dining at nearby Pueblo Bonito Resorts.
One drawback: the ocean here is too rough for swimming, so you'll have to stick to the pools if you're hoping to cool off with a refreshing dip.
Address: Predio Paraiso Escondido S/N Centro, Cabo San Lucas
18. El Dorado Maroma
Accommodation: El Dorado Maroma
A stunning locale, five-star service, and a variety of fun activities make El Dorado Maroma one of the best beach resorts in Mexico. Unlike some of the larger resorts on this list, the El Dorado Maroma has more of an intimate, boutique feel, perfect for those looking for a more secluded and tranquil getaway.
Set above the translucent turquoise water and boasting their own infinity pools and oversized patios, the overwater bungalows (aka palafitos) are worthy of a splurge. Guests can be forgiven for thinking they're in the Maldives.
Meals and drinks at the six restaurants and five lounges are included. The minibar; 24-hour room service; non-motorized water sports; and classes like aqua aerobics, Latin dancing, cooking, yoga, and Spanish are also complimentary. Plus, a shopping tour to nearby Playa del Carmen is included, as is access to the fitness center and three pools.
Address: Carretera Federal Cancun-Tulum Km 55.3, Playa Maroma, Playa del Carmen
19. Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel
Accommodation: Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel
You'll be hard-pressed to beat the beautiful setting found at the Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel in Riviera Maya. Set near a historic Mayan cenote, the resort lies on the soft shore of a pristine beach that caresses the cerulean waves of the Caribbean Sea.
The architecture is crisp and modern, as is the décor inside each luxurious room. Whether you choose a junior suite, secluded patio suite, or beachfront casita, prepare to be seriously spoiled.
The amenities on hand are unbeatable, making this one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Riviera Maya. Three pools, three restaurants, a fitness center, and access to an 18-hole championship golf course are just a few of the perks.
Access to the wet areas of the spa (i.e., the sauna and indoor and outdoor pools), a free round of golf, meals, beverages, minibar offerings, as well as a variety of activities and classes are included with your rate.
Guests are also permitted a free scuba clinic in the pool and one ocean dive or snorkeling tour. One session in a Mayan Temazcal (a round, domed stone building that's heated to 100 degrees or more) is also part of the package.
Address: Carretera Federal 307 Km 298, Playa del Carmen
20. Hilton Playa del Carmen
Accommodation: Hilton Playa del Carmen
The Hilton Playa del Carmen resort screams couples' beach vacation. First, it's set right on the beach, in this case, Playa del Carmen, which means you're only steps away from ocean-based fun and beach activities.
This all-suite resort doesn't skimp when it comes to your accommodations. Choose from a beachfront locale or a swim-up suite, both of which offer plush furnishings, super soft bedding, aromatherapy turndown service, and an included minibar, not to mention the private patio with a comfy hammock.
You'll find a gym on-site, as well as a spa, two pools, and seven restaurants, plus the Chef's Table. Many of the eateries require reservations and have a fancier dress code, so pack accordingly.
An introductory scuba lesson, in-suite room service, all meals and drinks, cooking demonstrations, Zumba and dance classes, and live entertainment are all included with your rate.
Address: Avenida Constituyentes 2 Gonzalo Guerrero, Playa del Carmen
