Key West is surrounded by water, so there is plenty to do, but if you are centering your vacation around travel with your pet, you will be pleased at the courtesy extended to pet owners throughout the city.

Most of the pet-friendly hotels and resorts fall into the mid-range or luxury price points. Your best bet for finding a cheap pet-friendly option will be at Boyd's Key West Campground or a local RV park.

There are two dog-friendly beaches in Key West and activities from hiking and kayaking to dolphin charters that welcome pets. There are even pet-friendly restaurants that allow you to bring your dog for outdoor patio dining.
