With some of the most beautiful water in the Caribbean and lots of diversity when it comes to style and size of resorts, the Bahamas are a top family trip destination, whether you are traveling on a budget or looking for a luxury hotel. The location off the east coast, and south of Florida, is another draw, as it is easy to access The Bahamas.

The Bahamas consist of hundreds of islands spread across as many miles, but not all are developed for tourism. The most developed island, where many vacation packages and deals are offered, is New Providence, which is home to Nassau and Paradise Island. Here, you'll find major resort complexes like Atlantis and Baha Mar, which are made up of numerous hotels. A number of resorts here are either all-inclusive or offer packages.

Another popular main island is Grand Bahama, which is home to more resorts and a major cruise ship port.

There are also kid-friendly hotels and resorts scattered across the Out Islands like Great Exuma, Long Island, and South Andros, where the pace of life moves slow, and the water is as brilliant as you'll see anywhere. Plan your next vacation with our list of the best family-friendly resorts in the Bahamas.
