Madrid - Paseo del Prado
The Paseo del Prado, which links the Plaza del Emperador Carlos V with the Plaze de la Cibeles, is a section of Madrid's busy north-south axis. Along this wide avenue, originally laid out as the great parade of 18th century Madrid, lines of trees, flowerbeds and areas of grass alternate with imposing buildings and parks, like the Jardín Botánico, the Museo del Prado, the Neptune Fountain and so on.
