Genoa - Circonvallazione a Mare

From the former bank Via F. Turati runs south past the warehouses of the free port to the Piazza Cavour, the starting point of the Circonvallazione a Mare, a seafront highway (now flanked by the high-level motorway) laid out in 1893-95 in the place of the outer walls. Under the names of Corso Maurizio Quadrio and Corso Aurelio Saffi the highway passes the grounds of the International Trade Fair, on land recently reclaimed from the sea, to the Piazza della Vittoria.
