Norman Attractions
The town of Norman is situated south of Oklahoma City. It is the location of the University of Oklahoma and was established in 1889. Within a short time the population had reached 500 and the town had four churches, two newspapers and 29 businesses. It is now the third largest city in Oklahoma.
The Firehouse Art Center features visual arts education and exhibits. The center was founded in 1971 by local artists and has expanded into a community arts center with classrooms, an exhibition gallery and gift shop.

The Jacobson House is located on the northwest corner of the campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman. The house was built in 1917 and is now a gallery of Native art featuring the Kiowa Five.
