Fujairah - Wadis

Fujairah is well known for its Wadis due to the geological topography of the area. Wadis are dry riverbeds that contain water after a heavy rain, in Arabic it can also mean oasis.

Tourists can enjoy Wadi Bashing. Wadi Siji, Wadi Saham, Wadi Mai and many other wadis. Wadi Ham is the largest and longest, springing from Masafi area. Wadi Al Tawian is reached through a mountain route.

Wadi Siji reaches to Al Zaid and Umm al-Quwain.

Dhaid is an oasis town that is located at the entrance to Wadi Siji. The rainwater that collected as run-off from the mountains created the oasis.

Wadi Al Wurayah is a major tourist attraction north of Fujairah. This scenic area includes the Al Wurayah waterfalls. Wadi Al Hail is a famous wadi in Fujairah that springs from Al Hail.
