The Desert Inn closed and is now the location of Wynn's Las Vegas.

The Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas is one of the major hotels in town. Featuring over 3000 rooms, the Las Vegas Hilton offers almost every amenity a visitor could ask for. Pools, entertainment areas, top-notch performers, and a wide variety of restaurants, the hotel is a destination in itself.

At one time the Hilton featured Elvis Presley as its entertainment. Today there is a statue of Elvis on the premises.

The Stratosphere Tower is an unmistakable sight on the Las Vegas skyline. The tower rises up 370m / 1149ft and is the tallest freestanding structure in the United States. At the top of the tower are a variety of restaurants and attractions including the Big Shot, X Scream, and Insanity thrill rides. If you are feeling romantic and want to get married, the Stratosphere Tower also has a "Chapel in the Sky".

The Aladdin Resort, located right on The Las Vegas Strip, is one of the city's premier hotels. Visitors never have to leave the Aladdin Resort because every conceivable convenience is located right on the property. Multiple restaurants, varied entertainment, and a complete shopping mall are all under one roof. Note that the Aladdin Resort is operating under the name Planet Hollywood Resort Hotel as of 2007.

Located on the grounds of Caesar's Palace in the Forum Shops, the Cinema Ride is a thrill seekers hot spot. Adults and kids will be thrilled by the crazy experience of the Cinema Ride. The attraction consists of seats that move while you watch one of six wild movies in 3D. This is a great place to have some fun while taking a break from your shopping expedition in the Forum Shops.

The Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas is truly one of the most unique hotels on "The Strip". Decked out in a medieval theme, the hotel surprises visitors with knights, horses, and wild architecture, complete with turrets. Sega Gameworks in Las Vegas is an amusement center that boasts of hundreds of video games. Players buy time on plastic cards that are inserted into the games to make them operate.
