Harrodsburg - Shaker Village

Shaker Village, an open-air museum with more than thirty buildings, illustrating the way of life the celibate sect of Shakers, can be visited to the north of Harrodsburg.

The Shaker Village houses an extensive collection of original Shaker furniture and household items from the 19th C. Daily demonstrations include broom making, spinning, weaving, coopering, domestic work, woodworking, farm work and gardening.
