Buffalo National River Description

Buffalo National River is one of very few unpolluted, free-flowing rivers. It has 3 designated wilderness areas within its boundaries.

Running through the Ozark Mountains, Buffalo National River is a protected area and home to a variety of wildlife, including deer and bobcats. Trails in the area accommodate hikers and those on horseback.
