Fond Du Lac Attractions

Fond du Lac has a scenic location perched at the base of Lake Winnebago. The city is a water based activity center with water skiing, canoeing, and swimming all at the town's doorstep. Fond du Lac has several interesting museums and a beautiful 400 acre waterfront park called Lakeside Park.

To experience the lake more completely visitors can try an excursion on the "Lakeside Spirit".

Galloway House and Village
The Galloway House and Village in Fond du Lac is a large operation with 25 buildings showcasing what a village looked like in the mid 1800's. The property is well laid out and visitors actually feel like they have stepped back in time. The Galloway House is a 30 room mansion and has been lovingly restored to its full glory.

Blakely museum displays American Indian artifacts, pioneer items, a doll collection and various artworks.
Lakeside Park
Located in Fond du Lac on the shores of Lake Winnebago is Lakeside Park. This multi use park is well laid out with lots to do. Walking trails, picnic facilities, and swimming areas are just a few of the amenities at this 400-acre park. Of note is a miniature train that provides rides in the summer.
