Canberra Map - Attractions

Canberra, the capital of Australia, is inland from the coast, between Sydney and Melbourne. The city is built around the Lake Burley Griffin, a man made feature. To the north of the lake is City Hill and to the south of the lake is Capital Hill and the impressive New Parliament House. Spanning the lake and joining these two areas is Commonwealth Avenue. Apart from the impressive New Parliament House some of the city's main attractions are the Australian National Gallery and the Australian War Memorial.
