Athens, capital of Greece, is one of the oldest cities in the world. The antiquities to be found here are incredible. Some of the most well known sites include the Acropolis, the Agora, and the Plaka area. Athens was the site of the first modern day Olympic Games in 1896 and then host to the games again in 2004.
