Buenos Aires - Cabildo Museum
(Local Name: Museo Del Cabildo) Dating back to 1765, the Cabildo was the Buenos Aires' Town Council building and the heart of the May 1810 revolution.
The small museum contains a replica of the city's first printing press, an exhibit of Jesuit and colonial art, old maps and pictures of the city.
Modern construction has changed the Cabildo but the façade retains a sample of the arches that once spanned the Plaza de Mayo.
