Busch Gardens & Water Country USA

Anyone with a liking for amusement park thrills can enjoy a double helping at Busch Gardens (with the "Alpengeist" super roller coaster) and Water Country, both within a few miles of Williamsburg.
Busch Gardesn is a European style park featuring rides, shows, horses, features all kinds of rides, and the French village of Aquitaine, complete with shops and theater performances.

College of William and Mary

The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg is the second oldest college in the United States, second only to Harvard. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe and John Tyler all took courses at William and Mary.
