Chaco Culture National Historical Park Description
The Chaco Canyon in northwestern New Mexico was a center of the Anasazi culture between the 10th and 12th centuries. The remains include the extensive settlement of Pueblo Bonito and an elaborate system of paths and flights of steps hewn from the sandstone.
