Wildwood Tourist Attractions

Three communities constitute this shore resort area, they are referred to as the Wildwoods but are separate entities. They consist of Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and North Wildwood.

Hereford Inlet Lighthouse

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse began operation in 1874 when the area was known as the fishing village Anglesea. Freeling Hewitt was guardian of the light for 45 years. The surrounding grounds feature flower and herb gardens as well as paths that lead to the shore.

Captain Schumann's Boat Rides

Boat rides are offered aboard the Big Blue, a converted World War II PT boat. Captain Schumann shares his knowledge of wildlife, ecology and the local fishing industry during 2.5-hour cruises along the Wildwood and Cape May coasts.

Delta Lady Sightseeing Cruises

Cruises are offered aboard an 1850s replica stern-wheeler. Passengers are introduced to local wildlife, the U.S. Coast Guard Base, commercial fishing fleets and other sights on 2-hour narrated cruises along the Intracoastal Waterway.

George F Boyer Historical Museum

The history of Wildwood is presented through vintage photos, artifacts and memorabilia. Special sections are dedicated to the police and fire departments, the beach patrol, boardwalk, history making residents and other achievements of the city.

Morey's Piers

Wildwood's famous Boardwalk is the backdrop for Morey's Piers that offer seven world-class roller coasters, two huge beachfront waterparks and family rides.

Raging Waters Waterparks

Over 50 water slides, and an interactive water play area highlights of Raging Waters Waterparks. Shipwreck Shoals, a 5,000-square-foot pirate adventure features cannons that shoot water and water slides.

Silver Bullet Speedboat

Ninety-minute sightseeing trips through the Intracoastal Waterway and along the Wildwood coast are offered with opportunity to see birds and dolphins.
