The Old Quarter (or French Quarter) of New Orleans features buildings as old as 270 years with wrought-iron balconies and red-tiled roofs. The Hermann-Grima House was completed in 1831 and features a Creole kitchen, Old Absinthe House was built in 1807 and served as a grocery store.
