Description
North Coast Harbor, at the north end of East 9th Street, has been redeveloped as a promenade and a setting for festivals; also situated here is Cleveland's latest attraction, the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame. Designed by I.M. Pei, it is more an experience than a museum. The history of popular music is spread over six floors in an atmosphere of multimedia exuberance, with such rarities as the manuscript of "Purple Haze" written by Jimi Hendrix or "The Psychedilic Porsche", as sung by Janis Joplin. The CD shop can meet every need.

It is here that the Rock n Roll music industry honors its finest entertainers. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame has many permanent exhibitions along with traveling national and international shows. The building is located near the river and the area surrounding it is a nice place to stroll on a pleasant summer afternoon.
