The facade of the Jefferson blends Beaux Arts and Renaissance Revival architectural styles, and inside the grand lobby, you'll find elegant faux marble columns, a sculpture of Thomas Jefferson, and the famed sweeping staircase that inspired the staircase in Gone with the Wind.

Enjoy afternoon tea poolside in the Palm Court, where once tame alligators swam. Guest rooms feature bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and in-mirror TVs. Suites have separate living areas, but for the ultimate getaway, book the Jefferson Suite, which comes with a grand piano in the living room and a marble balcony overlooking Franklin Street.

Located in the heart of Richmond's downtown, the hotel is close to popular attractions like the Virginia Repertory Theatre, Richmond Arts District, and Virginia War Memorial. Guests can take advantage of the hotel's complimentary bikes or transfers for sights farther away.
