Rather than simply taking the train from point A to point B, Amtrak's Adirondack Fall Foliage Rail Experience is designed to be among the most scenic Amtrak train routes in North America. Tickets for the excursion not only include a seat aboard the train, but also overnight stays in both New York City and Montreal. The tickets also include attraction and tour passes in the aforementioned cities to explore some of their individual highlights.

Amtrak's Adirondack Fall Foliage Rail Experience incorporates more than just the train ride to Montreal. Ticket holders also receive a two-night stay in New York City before even visiting the train station. Purchasing the tickets through the Amtrak website gives passengers a choice of more than a dozen New York City hotels, allowing for a customizable experience.

Once guests settle into their desired hotel, they are free to explore the sights of New York City.
