The Best Adults-Only, All-Inclusive Resorts In Europe For A Romantic Getaway
When we think of a European getaway, most of us travelers immediately think of a busy trip of touring, exploring historic destinations, hiking across cobblestone, and finally lying down for a snooze in a busy city center hotel. While trips like that are awesome, they're certainly not romantic. However, couples can find romantic getaways in Europe — sans kids, and sans taking out their wallets — at these adults-only, all-inclusive hotels across the continent. These resorts, which are usually found along stunning seas or in the mountains, are geared towards couples who are looking for a break that doesn't involve a lot of planning.
Planetware rounded up the best of the best of these resorts, ranging from a hotel themed after a festival-inspired dance party to a hotel on a quiet beach with a one-of-a-kind spa and two infinity pools. To decide which resorts made the cut, we chose ones with rave reviews on sites like Tripadvisor. We also considered which have the most romantic vibes and offerings, like priority dinner reservations for honeymooners and breakfast in bed. Don Gregory by Dunas, San Agustín, Gran Canaria, Spain
No matter which room you opt for at Don Gregory by Dunas in San Agustín on the island of Gran Canaria in Spain, you'll have a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean from your room for both you and your special someone. That's especially important considering that this Canary Island is known for its stunning beaches, especially on the south of the island — where Don Gregory by Dunas is — that feature tranquil waves and gold sand.
"Great location first line of the beach, not on the busy area of Playa des Ingles so very quiet," wrote one visitor on Tripadvisor. "Large room, all the facilities on it (minifridge, safe), very varied and tasty food at dinner especially, 2 pools." Some of the rooms also have access to private solariums or terraces with easy entry to the hotel's garden and one of the infinity pools. Plus, for a calming vibe, the rooms feature neutral white and gray tones with pops of ocean blue.
You'll also have ocean views from the infinity pools, as they are within mere feet of the Atlantic Ocean. Or, take your relaxation indoors at the onsite spa, which offers amenities like three sensation showers, a Turkish bath, a sauna, a heated bench, and a relaxation room. Couples can also book treatments, including volcanic stone massages and orange wraps with grape seed oil, volcanic lava, and orange and citrus oil.
Hyde Bodrum, Bodrum, Turkey
With both a bohemian, eco-friendly vibe as well as a setting that celebrates letting loose, a stay at Hyde Bodrum in Bodrum, Turkey, is perfect for couples that are the life of the party but also want to savor local culture. Here, music is always flooding through the speakers, played by both a DJ and live musicians who practically welcome couples to hit the dance floor. Music is such a focus that the rooms — which are pet-friendly, so you can bring at least one of your "children" — are named after concert ticket types.
Choose from room categories like the VIP or Headliner suites, as well as rooms with private patios overlooking the beach bar or private pools. The rooms are adorned with neutral tones that allow the property to speak for itself, punctuated with nature prints that adhere to the hotel's philosophy of sustainability. Just a few of its policies include using reusable items, examining energy usage every day, incorporating native ingredients into menus, and vaccinating and neutering local feral felines.
"From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect — the warm welcome , the beautifully kept rooms, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the ideal getaway for us as a couple," wrote one past visitor on Tripadvisor. "Every detail, from the cozy bedding to the stunning views, was just right." Couples will especially love the five onsite bars and restaurants, some of which offer daily saxophone performances and a romantic and upscale French ambiance.
King Jason Zante, Zakynthos, Greece
With over 100,000 square feet filled with pools alone, one would think that King Jason Zante in Zakynthos, Greece, is packed full of guests. However, that couldn't be further from the case at this resort with just 87 rooms, all of which are suites and most of which have swim-up access to a pool. Visitors can also hang out at the beach, as Zakynthos has some of the prettiest waters around the world. "There's plenty of sun loungers and seating for everyone," wrote one visitor on Tripadvisor. "After dusk, the subdued lighting turns the space into a romantic oasis."
You can even book a room with a private pool. With such an intimate atmosphere, it's clear that this resort delivers on its intended relaxing atmosphere. However, what will get your heart pumping at King Jason Zante is the many activities available, such as olive-leaf tea-picking ceremonies, bread-making classes, winery visits, and horseback riding. Finish off your day at one of the hotel's three onsite restaurants, including a buffet, a Middle Eastern restaurant, and a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant. The latter two offer carefully curated tasting menus as well as sunset views, presenting a romantic vibe no matter the night. Zakynthos is also home to one of the best destinations for a romantic vacation in Greece, according to reviews.
Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa, Rhodes, Greece
At Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa in Rhodes, Greece, "spa" is the key word. This hotel's feature is its spa, which includes a marble Turkish bath, tech-friendly relaxation rooms, and personalized treatments. Some of those treatments are perfect for couples, like the Aegeo Spas ritual massages that are only available in Greece and Minoan's ancient massages, which utilize Cretan herbs and traditional Greek techniques.
Even if you and your loved one aren't spa rats, there is plenty more to do at this colossal resort that has 250 rooms. There are more than a dozen dining and drinking options to choose from, including a Greek restaurant, an Asian restaurant, and an Italian restaurant. "The 3 a la carte restaurants were fabulous, my favourite being the Wasabi which had amazing views and a romantic feel about it especially if eating late when the moon was out," wrote one past visitor on Tripadvisor. "The Italian and Greek were also lovely with some really tasty dishes."
But even if you just want to hang back in your room when you're not at the pool or the beach, you'll find a romantic respite at Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa. The vast majority of the rooms have views of the Aegean Sea and ocean ambiance inside, with blue, gray, and white tones as well as curves that look like rolling waves. Plus, all of the rooms have private patios, and some also have swim-up pool access.
Paradisus Salinas, Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, Spain
Couples with an appreciation for arts and culture will perhaps find no better adults-only, all-inclusive hotel than Paradisus Salinas in Costa Teguise on the Canary Island of Lanzarote in Spain. Now a protected heritage building after being designed in the 1970s by renowned Spanish architect Fernando Higueras, Paradisus Salinas is an upscale escape featuring works by local artists as well as a replica of a pool designed by Cesar Manrique. Nearby is the César Manrique Foundation, as well as the International Museum of Contemporary Art. That appreciation for design is reflected in Paradisus Salinas' 270 rooms, which feature white marble floors, woven straw rugs, and seaside colors. Plus, all of the rooms have views of the Atlantic Ocean or gardens and rain showers, while some have private pools. The hotel was named as one of Conde Nast's Design & Architecture hotels of 2025.
Outside of the rooms, couples will enjoy the heated saltwater pool, or they can opt to hang out on Lanzarote's famed beaches. "Paradisus by Meliá Salinas Lanzarote is a true gem among hotels on the island," wrote one person on Tripadvisor. "This five-star, adults-only resort is perfectly located right next to two sandy beaches, allowing guests to fully enjoy the beauty of Lanzarote all year round." The hotel is also near lots of bars and restaurants, although with the onsite restaurant La Graciosa, you don't necessarily need to step foot off the property.
Prive Hotel Bodrum, Bodrum, Turkey
Want the best of both worlds? Then Prive Hotel Bodrum in Bodrum, Turkey, is the place to be. While the resort has an elegant and upscale vibe, couples can also be quickly water-taxied through Prive Hotel Bodrum's own vessel to downtown Bodrum, which is always humming with bars, restaurants, and action. "There is a small boat run by the municipality that takes you to Bodrum center and back for a small charge; this 15-minute trip is convenient and romantic, especially at night," wrote one past visitor on Tripadvisor.
Back at the hotel, you and your special someone will have plenty of ways to unwind, starting from the second you check in. Guests are greeted with a Turkish delight, chocolate-covered strawberries, lemonade, and cocktails. Then, they'll head up to their chic and minimalist rooms that feature pops of color. Some of the rooms have ocean views and balconies.
Downstairs, couples can choose from the resort's nearly 230-foot private beach or the freshwater pool. They can even order cocktails from the beach via QR code menus printed on each resort umbrella. Once they've caught their tan, they can grab a bite at one of the three onsite restaurants that feature Turkish eats and more (one of which has a dress code, so pack accordingly!). Honeymooning couples get first pick of dinner reservations, and they can also opt for a romantic breakfast in bed. Don't leave this hotel without visiting the spa, which has a hammam, sauna, and massage rooms.
Riviera Spa Resort, Marfa Bay, Malta
Malta is forgotten in the sea of romantic European destinations where spots like Greece and Spain get all the attention, but Malta deserves just as much acclaim, as it features 300 yearly days of sunshine, natural beauty, and romantic locales. One of those locations is the Riviera Spa Resort, which has amazing views of Marfa Bay, as well as an indoor saltwater pool for those few not-so-nice days. Inside the 358 tasteful rooms adorned with relaxing tones and seaside colors, guests can opt for views of the hotel's two outdoor saltwater pools, ocean views, country views, and/or balconies. They can also bring their dogs as long as they weigh under about 26 pounds.

Sensoria Dolomites, Italy
Located in the South Tyrol's UNESCO‑listed Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park, which is the Dolomites' largest ski area, Sensoria Dolomites in Italy is perfect for couples looking to reconnect with nature. Views of both the surrounding mountains and the Frötschbach River are aplenty thanks to Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. But due to the hotel's oversized windows and nature-inspired touches like tree trunk coffee tables, you'll never feel far from Mother Nature anyway. The hotel's philosophy follows this, too; it utilizes its own solar power system and LED lighting, does not use plastic products, and follows other sustainable practices.
Although Sensoria Dolomites is family-owned, it's perfect for adults. Its 47 rooms, making for an intimate atmosphere, feature a chic minimalism as well as wraparound balconies perfect for enjoying the landscape, whether you visit during the lush spring or summer or the white winter.
It's even better for foodie couples. Everything from multi-course gala dinners to South Tyrolean wine and spirits tastings is offered on the ever-changing menus, which are sometimes served among live art performances that feature both live music and an artist at work. "A special compliment goes to the Chef / Pastry Chef, and to all the kitchen staff because every day, from breakfast, snack and dinner, they presented very aesthetically accurate dishes but with an excellent refinement of flavors and textures!" wrote one visitor on Tripadvisor. Stella Island Resort & Spa, Crete, Greece
If you're a couple that loves to float hand-in-hand, then you'll have plenty of options at Stella Island Resort & Spa on the Greek island of Crete. Several pools fill the expansive property. With so many pools, you'll never be at a loss for a lounge seat, even though Stella Island Resort has 225 rooms, bungalows, and villas. While the rooms have vintage-inspired décor, their amenities are decidedly not, as some of them include touches like private outdoor whirlpool baths, direct pool access, and balconies.
The bungalows are even better, with bamboo ceilings, personal gym equipment, and patios that are mere feet from the resort's lagoon pool, which is one of the biggest lagoon pools on the continent. "We stayed in one of the Overwater Bungalows, and it was absolutely beautiful, modern, spotless, and super peaceful," wrote one past visitor on Tripadvisor. "Having direct access to the water from our deck was such a luxury, and the whole resort has a really calm, romantic atmosphere that's perfect for couples."
For even more water fun, head to the waterpark at the next-door associated property Stella Villa, or the resort's beach. Since the property is in a secluded area, you won't have to fight with guests at other neighboring hotels for beach access. Or, find your relaxation indoors at the onsite spa, which has a heated indoor pool, relaxation room, hammam, treatment rooms, and whirlpool baths.
Tui Blue Barut Andiz, Side, Turkey

When people look for romantic, all-inclusive resorts for couples, they often hightail it to the Caribbean, where these types of resorts line the white-sand beaches and turquoise ocean. However, stunning all-inclusive, adults-only resorts can also be found along the beaches and mountains in Europe — especially at these most romantic European destinations for couples to visit — although it takes some digging to find them. So, Planetware did the work for you by finding the best resorts perfect for couples who would rather pay one bill at the end of their getaway – and be free from splashing and screaming kids.
