Description
The most northwesterly extension of the Tux Pre-Alps is the Patscherkofel (2,247m/7,372ft; cableway from Igls), the "weekend mountain" of the citizens of Innsbruck. Its neighbor to the east, the Glunzeger (2,677m/8,783ft), which can be reached fairly quickly from the upper station of the Patscherkofel cableway (1,945m/6,382ft), is popular with skiers on account of its long downhill run, with a fall of 2,100m/6,900ft.
