Uxmal - Pyramid of the Old Woman

(Local Name: Pirámide de la Vieja) One of the oldest remains in Uxmal is probably the Pyramid of the Old Woman (Pirámide de la Vieja; c. ad 670-770), which lies to the south-east of the South Group and still awaits excavation. From the top of this pyramid it is possible to take excellent photographs of the Governor's Palace.
