Würzburg - St Mary's Chapel 


(Local Name: Marienkapelle) Northwest of the Würzburg Neumünsterkirche, in the Marktplatz, is St Mary's Chapel (Marienkapelle; 1377-1479; restored after 1945), the finest Late Gothic building in Würzburg, with magnicifent doorways. Tomb of Bathasar Neumann (on the third pillar in the nave); monument of Konrad von Schaumberg (d. 1499) by Riemenschneider.
