Hofgarten
The Hofgarten, a French-style garden laid out between 1703 and 1774, is the best-preserved Roccoco garden in Germany. The centerpiece of the gardens is a large artificial lake with fountains and "Parnassus" (a sculptured group crowned by Pegasus). There is much other Baroque sculpture in the gardens (ornamental vases, allegorical figures, putti, etc.).
