The Dr. Kate museum in Woodruff is a snapshot of the life and times of Dr. Kate Newcomb's life. On display are mementos of her practice, which operated between 1930 and 1950. Dr Kate was a local legend and earned herself the nickname "angel on snowshoes" for her hard work.
