St Croix Falls - Interstate State Park Attractions
The Interstate State Park located 0.5mi south of US Highway 8 on State Route 35 at Park Road is Wisconsin's oldest state park. Established in 1900 the park boasts of two campgrounds and some unique geological formations caused by the St Croix River. Interstate State Park also offers areas for swimming, canoeing, fishing and hiking.
This 252 stretch of the St. Croix and Namekagon Rivers is a canoeist's paradise. Calm waters and beautiful scenery of the St Croix National Scenic Riverway will impress most travelers. Camping is available along the way and the National Parks Service administers the area. Fishing can also be good along this route.
