Menomonie is the home of the University of Wisconsin-Stout. However, the town, population just over 13,000 is more than just a university town. It has some architectural gems. Located within the city is a multitude of well preserved homes from the mid 19th Century.
Built at the end of the 19th Century, the Mabel Tainter Memorial Building is now the center of Arts & Culture in Menomonie. Frequent shows take place on a regular basis. Of note is the still functioning Steere and Turner track pipe organ with 1957 pipes. Be sure to check in with the box office to see what's playing.

The Russel J Rossbach Heritage Museum is located in Menomonie's Wakanda Park. The museum features 14 exhibits ranging from an interactive bank robbery to historical events in Dunn County.
