Description
Located on the campus of Rollins College, Cornell Fine Arts Museum houses a collection of more than 6000 objects. There are American and European paintings, sculpture and decorative arts ranging from the Renaissance and Baroque periods to the 20th century. Some of the collection's highlights include Cosimo Rosselli's "Madonna & Child Enthroned," c.1480, the "Europa Crowned by Genius," c.1640 by Pietro Liberi and Henry Moore's "Reclining Figure," 1982. The museum also host temporary traveling exhibitions and other educational programs like lectures, films and workshops.
