The history of Beeston Castle stretches back more than 4,000 years, to when it was a Bronze Age hill fort. An incredible view of the surrounding countryside can be seen from the ruins of the castle. "Robin Hood" starring Patrick Bergen and Uma Thurman was filmed here.
