Grand Beach Provincial Park encompasses a huge stretch of soft sand beach on the shores of Lake Winnipeg. One of the nicest beaches in Canada, Grand Beach becomes a hot spot for sun seekers and campers looking to get away from the city during the hot summer months.

Grand Beach is about a one hour drive from Winnipeg and there are a variety of accommodation options in the area such as motels and cottage rentals. There are also place offering casual dining and entertainment. This is the full on beach experience in Manitoba.
Oak Hammock Marsh
Oak Hammock Marsh has a restored prairie marsh, artesian springs, 30 kilometers of trails, and some of Manitoba's last remaining tall-grass prairie. This is a great place to spend some time and learn about wetlands. The area has incredible bird watching opportunities.

St Boniface - Fort Gibraltar, Canada

Fort Gibraltar is a reconstructed nineteenth-century fort, owned by the North West Company. The fort allows visitors to witness history through the eyes of the voyageurs that lived it, while costumed interpreters present the exciting age of the fur trade.
