Winnipeg - Pan Am Pool

The Pan Am Pool (Poseidon Bay) was built for the Pan American Games held in Winnipeg in 1967. The 65 m (213 ft) by 25 m (82 ft) pool is one of the largest in Canada. The generously proportioned Hall of Fame houses a collection of water sports memorabilia including a large array of stamps with designs reflecting sporting themes.

The Pan Am Pool is frequently the host of major swimming, water polo and diving competitions. Public swim is available everyday and for the daring, the high diving platforms are accessible for those wanting try the 10 m / 30 foot drop.
