The Living Prairie Museum is an opportunity to visit one of the few remaining vestiges of natural prairie land. The 16 ha (40 acre) former conservation area harbors 200 species of native plants, including some now rare. Audio-visual and other explanatory material is provided in the reception area.
The Living Prairie Museum has an excellent interpretive center with a multitude of interpretive displays showing the way the prairie used to be and the way it is now.
