Wick - Girnigoe Sinclair Castle

Brig o'Tram rock arch near Wick is an interesting sight, while at the commanding viewpoint of Noss Head to the north of Wick the remains of Girnigoe Sinclair Castle are visible.

This location is the site of a pilgrimage of those who believe that Henry Sinclair, Earl of Orkney, discovered the new world before Columbus' famous journey.
