Weaverville - Trinity Alps Wilderness Area
At 513,100 acres the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area is the second largest wilderness area in California. The reserve is located in between Redding and Eureka in the Klamath Knot. The area includes a number of fine hiking trails and 55 lakes. There is plenty of wildlife in the area.
