Metaline Falls Attractions
The small town of Metaline Falls is located in the far northeastern corner of Washington State, on the Pend Oreille River. The town has a number of historic buildings and a strong arts community.
Boundary Dam
Boundary Dam is located along the Pend Oreille River. This massive electrical generating facility has seen some restrictions due to security concerns in recent years. There is an observation deck, although access to the Boundary Dam sight may be limited. Check ahead before visiting.
Gardner Cave
Gardner Cave, near Metaline Falls, can be visited on a guided tour. Located within Crawford State Park, Gardner Cave is the third longest limestone cavern in the state, and boasts all the usual rock formations, with stalactites, stalagmites, and more.
