Lynden Attractions
The town of Lynden, in northwestern Washington State proudly boasts of its Dutch heritage. "Holland Days" are celebrated each may and a large windmill stands in the town center. The downtown area of Lynden has a variety of unique shops and galleries.
Berthusen Park
Berthusen Park, just outside Lyden, is a beautiful wooded area, left to the city by Hans and Lida Berthusen who settled the land. Remnants of the original homestead, including the barn, are still visible. Located within Berthusen Park are a childrens' play area, picnic sites, and walking trails.
Lynden Pioneer Museum
The Lynden Pioneer Museum looks at almost all aspects of pioneer life, from housing and business, to agriculture and transportation. Staffed by volunteers, the museum features costumed interpreters to help bring the old time setting to life.
