Kelso Attractions

The small town of Kelso is located in the southwestern corner of Washington State, near the Columbia River. The town is the gateway to the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, the largest attraction in the area.
Cowlitz County Historical Museum
The Cowlitz County Historical Museum in Kelso features changing exhibits on the history of Kelso and the surrounding area. The museum also offers a full calendar of special events with workshops and programs. There is also a children's section at the Cowlitz County Historical Museum, making it a nice family outing.
