The Goldendale Observatory Interpretive Center, unlike many other observatories, welcomes visitors and focuses on educating the public. There are afternoon and evening viewing sessions.

The Klickitat County Museum is located in the historic Presby House. The museum explores the history of Goldendale and Klickitat County.
