Dayton Attractions
Dayton (pop. 2500) offers a wide range of activities for visitors including fishing, hiking, biking, camping, boating, skiing, and numerous other outdoor activities. Also of interest are the more than 100 buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The old Dayton train depot closed in the 1970s but is now the home of the Dayton Historical Depot Society. The building, which dates to the late 19th Century is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum contains a large collection of old photos from the town's history as well as old furniture and other artifacts.
