Washington - Henley Park Hotel

Built in 1918, this luxury hotel began its life as the Tudor Hall apartments. Throughout it's history, it has been the address of choice for many congressmen and senators. In 1982 it was restored and turned into a hotel.

The exterior of Henley Park Hotel is adorned with 119 gargoyles, two of which depict the faces of the architect and his wife. There are 96 rooms over eight floors. Each room is decorated with reproductions of 18th century art and furnishings.
