Theodore Roosevelt Island Park is part of the George Washington Memorial Parkway that includes famous sites such as Fort Marcy and Lady Bird Johnson Park. This island park is limited to foot traffic only and bicycles are not permitted. The park features numerous walking trails through river vegetation along wonderful boardwalks. The park is free to all and features informative plaques along the walkways explaining the flora and fauna.
