Manassas Attractions

The city of Manassas, located a mere 35 miles from Washington, DC, is an interesting place to visit. The city has done a fine job of restoring its historical buildings and has been awarded "The Great American Main Street" award. The city has a diverse selection of arts and cultural options including contemporary and historical museums and galleries.
Manassas Museum
The Manassas Museum in the city of the same name had collections based on the surrounding area. On display in the 7000 square foot facility are items showing the history of Manassas including artifacts, photographs, and documents. The museum also has a store selling mementos.

Rohr's Store & Museum is a bit of an institution in Manassas. The store has been run by the same family for decades and maintains an old fashioned feel, with a range of goods that you might have seen in bygone days. In the museum portion of Rohr's visitors will find a variety of antique items, adding to the unique atmosphere.
