Print Shop of Elihu Stout Description
A replica of the print shop of Elihu Stout, the first printer in the Indiana Territory, contains an original wooden Ramage printing press - similar to the press Stout operated. Stout was brought to Vincennes by Governor Harrison to print the laws enacted by the legislature. Stout also printed a newspaper and bound books.
