Description
This two-story frame structure, held together by wooden pegs, was once a tailor shop but was rented out in 1811 for the Indiana Territory Legislature. A nine-member elected General Assembly met on the first floor. The "upper house" consisted of five men appointed by the president and governor who met on the second floor.
