Venice - San Giacomo dell'Orio
San Giacomo dell'Orio and its Romanesque Campanile date back in their present form to the 16th century. The Presbytery, which has a richly carved ceiling, was not added until later. The alter-piece, "Sacred Conversation" (1546), by Lorenzo Lotto is especially interesting. The Old Sacristy contains works by Palma Giovane.
The New Sacristy is situated outside the building and has fine ceiling paintings by Paolo Veronese.
