Valletta - Casa Rocca Piccola

 
Situated past Palace Square at 74 Republic Street is an elegant private palazzo open to the public. The Marquis Nicholas de Piro gives an educational tour through the eight principal rooms of his home and shows the numerous heirlooms. Artifacts arranged on the first floor include children's toys, a knight's sedan chair, a fine piece of 16th century furniture, a portable chapel, a mid 17th century marquetry bureau, numerous portraits, a Venetian chandelier and a rare set of late 18th century medical instruments from the Sacra Infermeria.
