Price (pop. 8,200) is the county seat and largest town in Carbon County in central Utah. Its main industries are farming and coal mining. Price is the site of the College of Eastern Utah.
The Hellenic Orthodox Church in Price is the oldest Greek church in Utah. It was the 33rd Greek Orthodox Church built in the USA and was built in 1916.
The Price Municipal Building is located at 185 Main and features a mural depicting the history of Carbon County. The mural was painted by Lynn Fausett from 1938 to 1941.
The Price Canyon Recreation Area is located 15m/24km north of Price at 8,000ft/2,438m. The area offers camping, picnicking and hiking in a peaceful pine forest setting.
