The Clear Lake Waterfowl Management Area is a 6,000-acre wetland refuge for migratory birds that is fed by more than 100 natural springs. It is located in Millard County.
Historic Cove Fort was built in 1867 as a waystation for Mormon settlers. It is located just off Interstate 15 between Beaver and Fillmore, and is one of the last forts built by the Latter-day Saints in the 1800's that is still standing.
Delta (pop. 3,200) is the largest municipality in Millard County. It was established in 1906, and was originally called Melville. The main industry in the town is a power plant.
The Great Basin Museum in Delta is a historical museum with an emphasis on local and regional history. Items on display include pioneer exhibits, farm equipment, minerals and prehistoric artifacts. There are also exhibits on the Topaz Relocation Camp and fossils found in the area.

The small town of Holden (pop. 400) is located 10mi/12km northeast of Fillmore in Millard County just west of the Fishlake National Forest in central Utah.
The remains of Old Fort Deseret are located south of Delta in Millard County. It was a pioneer fort dating from 1865. It was built out of adobe mud to defend against Native Americans. There is a monument on the site that was built in 1937.
During World War Two, more than 10,000 Japanese were sent to the Topaz Relocation Camp which is located on 20,000 acres near Delta in Millard County, Utah.
